Purpose: For children (Kindergarten through 6th grade) to teach biblical truths in a child targeted, relevant, and creative way.
Kids’ Club meets on Tuesdays from 6:30pm – 8:00pm, October 17 through May 8. This year we will be using 2 units from Group Publishing, Inc.’s Kids’ Travel Guide Series, the Kids’ Travel Guide to the Armor of God and to the Fruit of the Spirit.
The children meet
initially in the chapel's gym for play stations. Then they
move to the sanctuary for some
high-energy singing and sword drill followed by a Bible lesson in a
room
downstairs. Afterwards they break off
into smaller groups for individual work and then participate in a game
or craft,
and snack. Each week children are
encouraged to apply the Biblical lesson to their daily lives.
