Nature of the Ministry: Missionary with Open Air Campaigners. Evangelistic efforts include: Holding evangelistic meetings at Temple University and City College; object lessons in bus stops to gain attention and share the gospel with people waiting for their bus; in the winter (when it’s cold) boarding cargo ships and do subway meetings; children’s meetings in neighborhoods with row housing; and holding lunchtime meetings at Center City where the Braun’s present the gospel to business people on their lunch hour. The Braun’s are also involved in various aspects of training, such as: Presenting an annual seminar at Lancaster Bible College on the first week in June; and training junior and senior varsity teens and  adults  in  evangelism.

Prayer Requests: Joy’s health (headaches and a shoulder problem); David’s  health  (arthritis);  and  more  financial  support.

Financial Information: The Braun’s support level is currently at 70% of  last  year’s  average  ($55,000).

Personal notes: Introduced to ministry in 1980 at Word of Life where David and Joy met. Joy was saved as a result of the ministry of the North Waverly Chapel and the Braun’s were married at the Chapel in December of 1980. Currently, the Braun’s attend the New Life Baptist Church, where Joy serves as a Sunday School teacher and an AWANA leader. David is an Elder and is in charge  of  outreach.  Both  are  involved  in  personal  discipleship.
