Ted & Kate Mole

Matthew, Andrew, Nathanael

Nature of the Ministry: Ted and Kate provide field-based mentoring and pastoral care for student-missionaries and to teach missions at Yakutsk Bible School. They work in conjunction with the local pastor to teach and encourage the local church members to increase the effectiveness of our  evangelistic  efforts  and  to  help  the  church  to  become  more  contextualized.

Prayer Requests: Please pray for effective evangelism among men in our community; Pray for rest time and for finances to go someplace where we can have genuine downtime as a family; pray for the completion of house renovations before winter hits (September!); also, renewal of VISA’s in November and get the next form of registration to allow the Mole’s to live there longer; pray also for safety in travelling  and  security  at  home.

Financial Information:  Current  support  level  at  91%.

Personal notes: The Mole’s recently sent NWC a small photo album so that we can better connect the names and faces and better pray for them. Ted formerly attended NWC for a couple years when he lived there and helped to do Sunday School for adults and some activities for youth, so they have many friends in the church body. After they were formally appointed to serve in Ukraine in 1994, they made several visits to the Chapel and were at the NWC anniversary celebration as well. When they were home on furlough 2000-2001, they shared from the pulpit and visited with the congregation. The Mole’s write that: The  Chapel  holds  a  “special  place”  in  their  hearts.
