Personal notes: The NWC began supporting the Steel’s around 1987, when they were preparing to move to Paraguay after finishing their Missions training. Randy’s Grandmother (Nina Maas) was attending the Chapel at the time and that’s how the Steel’s developed their contact with the church. His mother, Norma (Vanderworker) Steel was healed by the Lord of a deteriorated hip when she was a little girl, after folks at the Chapel prayed for her during a church service.
