Nature of the Ministry: Jim handles all of the music instruction except guitar, which is handled by Alice. They have a Music Ministries Minor program for especially talented students, in which they can study voice, keyboard, brass and woodwinds, music history, etc. Jim serves on several committees, including Information Technology, Library, Spiritual Affairs, and Accreditation. Alice is currently teaching a basic Theology course. She also serves on various committees, including Ministry Assignments, Alumni, Missions, and as a coordinator for our Accreditation committees. In addition to their responsibilities within the College, Jim  and Alice are active worship leaders/trainers at a local Gospel Church.  Immanuel AGC is an urban church, with between 700 and 800 attending one of two services on Sunday morning. They’re also responsible for a college outreach group (Christian Witness Team) which ministers in local  high  schools  while  school  is  in  session.

Prayer Requests: Pray for two former students of Alice’s (both women) who have been commissioned to go to another part of the country; learn the language and culture of the Pokot people; and to disciple them,  as  they seek  to  evangelize  their  own.

Financial Information: WGM has set their support level at approximately  $4900 per month. This includes salary, health insurance, travel allowances,  retirement benefits, etc. Jim and Alice currently have some 57 supporting churches and organizations (camp meetings, prayer groups, Sunday school classes, etc.), but the bulk of their continuing support comes from individuals who may give as little as $10 or up to $135 per month for  their  ministry.
