Nature of the Ministry: Title: Dallas Computer Desk Help Manager; provide first-level support for software, operating systems, and hardware; help to keep SIL software pages on the Internet up to date; help in the development of the next version release of LinguaLinks Library; and  more.

Prayer Requests: Demands of job responsibilities; obedience to Wycliffe’s renewed focus and challenge to have a Bible translation at least started in every remaining language that needs one; strengthened marriage; physical exercise.

Financial Information: Karen is a Wycliffe employee who raises funds for half her salary. Karen’s half of the salary is $953.00 per month.  Her actual monthly average is $886.00. The NWC support has been about $41-$50 per month since 1993. Karen tithes on money back to the Chapel. Karen has no retirement plan and her medical  insurance  is  provided  through  her  husbands  employer.

Personal notes: Karen’s last visit to the Chapel was in May, 2001.  She visits every three years or so, even helping out with VBS on  occasion.  Her  plans  are  to  visit  the  Chapel  this  Summer  for  two  days.
