Pastor Edgar L. Manns grew up in Scranton, PA and earned his degree in pastoral studies at Toccoa Falls College. He has pastored over 35 years in places that include: Asheboro, NC, Blossburg, PA, Jersey Shore, PA, Niagara Falls, NY, and now at North Waverly Chapel. Pastor Edgar's goal for this church is to show the love of Jesus Christ to the people here in the "Valley."
While pastoring in Jersey Shore, PA, Pastor Edgar served as general contractor to rehab an old school into a beautiful church building. It was there that he lost his first wife of 30 years to cancer; he has since remarried Dr. Susan Clark Manns, former voice professor at Moody Bible Institute. Pastor has one daughter and four grandchildren.
In addition to pastoring, he has worked extensively with children through Kaleidoscope Ministries. He uses gospel illusion, story telling, songs, games, and Bible memory to lead children of all ages to Christ.
